An accessibility statement demonstrates your website's commitment to accessibility, and that you are taking proactive steps for ongoing accessibility efforts.
When you install accessWidget, an accessibility statement is automatically generated for your website within 48 hours.
This statement provides:
- Proof of your commitment: Confirms that you are taking ongoing steps to accommodate users with disabilities.
- Details of adjustments: Describes the adjustments accessWidget has made to your website, in terms of browser and assistive technology compatibility.
- Adherence to WCAG 2.2: Certifies that your website conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidelines - which helps makes you accessible and compliant with the ADA and other accessibility standards based on WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
If you manage multiple licenses, each registered domain and subdomain will receive its own accessibility statement.
