Understanding the Remediation Report

The Remediation Report shows how accessWidget contributes to your website’s accessibility over time. It provides a clear summary of improvements, along with detailed breakdowns.

You can use this report to better understand accessibility progress, share updates with stakeholders, and support your ongoing efforts to comply with ADA requirements and conform to WCAG guidelines.

How to view reports in the Customer Portal

View your Remediation Reports, including historical data, in the Customer Portal so you can track your accessibility performance over time.

To view your Remediation Reports

  1. Go to the accessiBe homepage and select Login (top right).
  2. Go to My Licenses.
  3. Select a license.
  4. In the side menu select Remediation report.
  5. Select a report to view.
  6. Select Download PDF to export a shareable version.

Performance highlights

This section includes a summary of key metrics:

  • Automatic accessibility improvements
    The number of issues addressed by accessWidget.
  • Development time saved
    An estimate of the time required to fix these issues manually.
  • Avoided WCAG violations
    The number of potential accessibility issues identified without accessWidget.

Accessibility fixes breakdown

This section shows how fixes are distributed across different areas.

  • Fixes by accessibility need
    Shows how the widget supports different user's accessibility needs (for example, vision impairments, motor impairments, ADHD and more)
  • Top components fixed
    Highlights which components were more frequently improved (for example, buttons, carousels and dropdowns)

Fixes by category

Categories group common accessibility challenges. 

This section shows:

  • A description of the issue
  • The pages where fixes were applied
  • The related accessibility rules

This helps you understand how different parts of your website are affected.

Accessibility rules defines specific requirements.  

For each rule

  • A description of the requirement 
  • Related issues grouped together
  • Example code snippets of how to fix the issue
