Connect to Linear

To connect accessFlow to your Linear project

Requires a one-time setup to connect to the tool by an Admin user within accessFlow.

You must have an existing project in Linear .

  1. Go to Integrations and select the Linear card.
  2. Enter a name for the integration and select Next.
  3. In the Linear - Authentication window, select Connect.
  4. In the Linear  Grant Permission tab, select Allow to give access to your Asana account.
  5. Once you see the Authorization completed successfully window, close the tab.
  6. In the Linear Authentication window select Next.
  7. Select an Linear workspace to sync with accessFlow and select Next.
  8. Select an Linear project to sync with accessFlow and select Next
  9. Map the status in accessFlow with a corresponding status in  Linear . Each time the status of an issue in  Linear is changed, the corresponding status in accessFlow is updated.Screenshot of map statuses
  10. Select Finish.
    Your Linear project is now synced to accessFlow.

Update the connection settings

Change the Linear workspace or project for exporting accessFlow issues.

To update the connection settings

  1. Go to Integrations and select the Connected tools tab.
  2. Select Configure Integration on the Linear card. 
  3. Select Connect to Linear and then select Reconfigure.  
  4. Follow the wizard to make changes.

Disconnect Linear

To disconnect Linear from accessFlow

  1. Go to Integrations and select the Linear card.
  2. Open the three-dot menu (…) and then select Deactivate Integration.
  3. Type Delete.
  4. Select Deactivate Integration.

Export an issue

Export an issue from accessFlow into an issue in your Linear project.

To export an issue

  1. In the Export page, select an issue.
  2. In the remediation panel, select Export to create an issue in Linear as specified in the connection. Screenshot of export issue
