No. accessWidget does not use cookies or collect personal or identifiable end-user data. The end-user refers to the person who operates the widget.
accessWidget processes the end user’s IP address and the webpage URL in real time to provide accessibility functionality. This data is not stored.
The processing of the end user’s IP address and URL is subject to the terms of our Data Processing Agreement (DPA). You can also refer to the sub-processors list found here.
What does accessWidget process?
accessWidget processes non-personal technical interactions and accessibility preferences during an end user’s session to provide and improve accessibility functionality.
This includes:
- Mouse movements and click patterns, processed locally within the end-user’s session and not transmitted to external servers.
- Accessibility profiles and interface adjustments selected by the end user.
- End-user’s accessibility preferences may be processed for making the necessary accessibility adjustments, subject to the terms of the DPA.
This processing is:
- Session-based
- Not linked to individual users
What data is not collected?
accessWidget does not collect:
- Personal data (names, emails, phone numbers)
- Identifiable user profiles
- Session data stored and tied to individuals
