Understanding your notifications

  • Updated

Notifications in accessFlow help you stay up to date on your accessibility audits and any activity related to issues you’re involved in. You can view all notifications in the Notifications dropdown, organized into three tabs: All unread, Audit alerts, and Mentions & assigns.

All unread

The All unread tab shows every notification you haven’t opened yet. Once a notification is marked as read, it will no longer appear in this tab.

Here you can:

  • Mark all as read to remove all the notifications from the tab.
  • Mark individual notifications as read by selecting the Eye icon next to the alert.

Audit alerts

The Audit alerts tab lists all notifications related to your audits in accessFlow. These alerts make it easy to track your site’s audits and quickly respond to any issues.

Audit alert types include:

New audit ended

When a new audit completes successfully, you’ll see an alert that includes:

  • A green checkmark indicating the audit ran successfully
  • The date and time the audit was completed
  • A link to view audit results

Audit errors

If errors were detected while running an audit, you'll see an alert that includes:

  • The number of errors that occurred
  • The date and time of the audit
  • A link to review audit errors

Mentions & assigns

The Mentions & assigns tab displays all alerts that are specific to you and your work in accessFlow. You’ll see notifications whenever:

  • You’re assigned to an issue
  • Someone mentions you using @yourname in an issue comment

This tab makes sure you never miss an update that requires your direct involvement.
