When you dismiss an issue that you don’t plan to fix it, you can specify why you're dismissing the issue - whether it's a false positive, issue by design, or another reason. Providing this feedback helps improve the accuracy of future audits.
Why reporting a dismissal reason matters
When you dismiss an issue and indicate the reason, your feedback helps differentiate between accessibility issues that don't require any action and those that were incorrectly flagged as false positives. By sharing your insights, you’re contributing to our ongoing efforts to improve auditing accuracy in the platform.
Our accessibility team regularly reviews submitted feedback to identify areas where detection logic can be refined. If we determine that a change to our accessibility rules is needed, we’ll communicate updates to our users.
