How to install accessWidget manually on a Wix website

Manually install the accessiBe app, accessWidget, using custom code to help make your Wix site accessible. Alternatively you can install our Wix app for seamless integration into your Wix site with just a few clicks.

To add accessWidget to your Wix website

  1. Login to your Wix dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings in your site's dashboard.

  3. Scroll down to the Advanced panel, and select Custom Code.

  4. Select +Add Custom Code.

  5. Paste the installation code that you received from us when you registered your site for our service in the text box. If you don't have the installation code:
    1. On the accessiBe homepage, select Login in the top right corner, and log in to your account.
    2. Select My Licenses and select the specific license where you want to install accessWidget.
    3. Select Install and customize widget.   
    4. Under Quick installation, select Copy to Clipboard to copy the installation code.
  6. Enter a name for your code.
  7. Under Add Code to Pages, select All Pages (so that the entire site will be made accessible).
  8. In the Choose specific pages dropdown select Load code on each new page.
  9. In the Place Code in dropdown select Body - end.Screenshot of add custom code
  10. Select Apply.
  11. Customize your installation to match your website and brand.
